Gina Baker:
Gina studied singing at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and works in various music
making and educational settings. She is passionate about outreach through music, running
choirs including an NHS choir, prison choirs and a community choir with Cheltenham Music
Festivals. She also volunteers for the Choir With No Name, working with those affected by
homelessness. Gina also teaches singing and is the vocal coach for the University of Leicester
Chorus. Although classically trained, Gina has a versatile voice and enjoys singing Jazz and
Musical Theatre. As a soloist Gina has sung in a variety of operas and musicals and regularly
performs with her Guitar and Voice Duo partner Georgina Dadson. Whilst studying, Gina
was chosen to sing in a masterclass for the British Baritone and Composer Roderick Williams
OBE. She was also selected to sing in the CBSO’s Debussy Festival in March 2018 and in
November 2017 she was a part of the UK Premiere of Aché, working closely with the
principal cellist of the CBSO Edwardo Vassallo and Assistant Conductor Jonathan Bloxham.

Georgina Dadson:
Georgina studied the classical guitar at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the
tuition of Mark Ashford and Mark Eden. Georgina has played in master classes with Amanda
Cook, Laura Snowden, Xuefei Yang, Michael Partington, Fabio Zanon and Bill Kanengiser.
In 2018 she won the Birmingham Conservatoire Guitar Prize adjudicated by Craig Ogden
followed by the Dorris Newton Prize. Georgina is also a trustee of Sophie’s Silver Lining
Fund, a charity that supports actors and singers with the considerable expenses of their
training. She enjoys regularly promoting and organising concerts at Sophie’s Barn, the venue
associated with the charity. She is now  living in London and works for IMG Artists, an artist
management company for classical musicians. She continues to enjoy performing with her
Guitar and Voice duo partner Gina Baker and the National Youth Guitar Fellowship
Ensemble directed by Helen Sanderson, the head of Guitar at the Royal Welsh College of
Music and Drama.
